September 21st – ISGBA hosted its 2024 Cohort Meet & Greet at the 900-seat Lecture Hall, GAFA University Town Campus. Designed to bridge faculty-student connections and clarify the college’s academic ecosystem, this event laid the groundwork for personalized learning journeys.

As the seasons turn and another year unfolds, with the release of the theme "Carrying Forward the Spirit of Educators, Accelerating the Building of a Strong Education Nation," we welcome the 40th Teachers' Day. ISGBA extends its sincere gratitude to all faculty and staff for their steadfast support and dedicated contributions to the College.

September 6th – Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (GAFA) welcomed its 2024 cohort at a grand opening ceremony held in the stadium of the University Town Campus. 2,253 new students – including undergraduates, Master's, and PhD candidates from across China and overseas – gathered to begin their artistic journeys as proud "GAFAers".

On September 4th, new students arrived at the Innovation School of Greater Bay Area registration area, admission letters in hand, and with guidance from staff, proceeded to complete their enrollment formalities step by step.

When you hold that admission letter and step onto campus with excitement, I want to say: Congratulations!You’re about to embark on the most vibrant and transformative four years of your life. May you: Stay grounded yet dream boldly, Strive relentlessly yet savor every moment.The future you will look back and deeply appreciate the effort you pour in today. Go forth, and make this college journey unforgettable!

On June 26th, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts held the 2023 graduation ceremony at the riverside square of the University Town Campus. Party Secretary Xie Changjing, President Fan Bo, Party Deputy Secretary Song Guangzhi, Vice President Cai Yonghua and Li Jinshui, as well as the heads of relevant functional departments, the Party secretaries and presidents of each secondary college, teachers' representatives and graduates all attended the ceremony. Cai Yonghua presided over the ceremony.
