The essence of design lies in innovation. Innovation-driven development is one of the most crucial challenges of our time. We have now entered the era of artificial intelligence—an era distinct from the age of computers and the internet. At its core, AI is centered on cognition and innovation, which aligns perfectly with the fundamental nature of design.This lecture focuses on how artificial intelligence drives innovative design. It explores the integration of AI—as a scientific and technological discipline—with design—as an art form—and examines the mechanisms through which AI propels design innovation. At its heart, this is a fusion of scientific thinking and creative thinking.
