To further promote patriotic spirit, strengthen national identity, and inspire youth to embrace the mission of "dedicating youthful energy to our era," ISGBA organized a solemn flag-raising ceremony at Riverside Plaza, University Town Campus, on the morning of October 13.

On the morning of September 5, Bay Area Innovation College convened a new semester work conference in Room A415 at the University Town Campus to outline plans for the upcoming academic term. Present were Dean Wu Duan, Party Branch Secretary Cen Junhao, Vice Deans Liu Zaixing and He Xiayun, Deputy Secretary Wu Dongjie, and all faculty and staff members. The meeting was chaired by Dean Wu Duan.

University leaders including Lin Lan (Party Committee Secretary) and Li Yong (Vice President) led a comprehensive teaching inspection at ISGBA's Room A415 on September 1, reviewing academic preparations for the 2025-2026 academic year. The delegation comprised directors from 9 functional departments: Human Resources (Wang Zhiqiang), Student Affairs (Sun Kaijun), IT Services (Chen Zesheng), and others. BAIC leadership Wu Duan (Dean), Cen Junhao (Party Secretary), and 3 vice deans presented curriculum innovations featuring AI-enabled studio courses and blockchain-based academic credential systems.

ISGBA, in line with the national vision for youth development, has established a 18-member "Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Project" task force comprising first-year students. With support from Foshan's Chancheng District Education Bureau and Communist Youth League Committee, the team conducted a two-week rural outreach program in July at Foshan Poyang City Maker Town. Through ground mural creation, they demonstrated how art can revitalize communities, reflecting GAFA's commitment to integrating artistic excellence with social responsibility.

On the morning of May 12, ISGBA held a flag-raising ceremony at the Riverside Square of its University Town campus, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen patriotic education and inspire faculty and students to dedicate themselves to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The ceremony aimed to enhance participants' sense of identity, belonging, and unity. Attending were College Director Wu Duan, Zheng Haohua (Secretary of the Foshan Campus Committee), Assistant Directors Liu Zaixing and He Xiaying, along with nearly 400 faculty members and students.

On April 23, the Chancheng District Education Bureau of Foshan Municipality convened a thematic meeting regarding the land disposal plan for the second-phase construction of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (GAFA) Foshan Campus. The meeting was held at the conference room of the Phase I Construction Project Command Post. Focusing on critical issues related to the campus's second-phase development, the discussions laid a solid foundation for the orderly progression of subsequent project stages. Attendees included Wu Duan, Director of the ISGBA, along with representatives from the Chancheng District Education Bureau, the Project Construction Management Center, the Phase I contractor, and engineering staff from the ISGBA's Office.

On the afternoon of March 27, the Directly Subordinated Party Branch of the Foshan Campus Management Committee convened its 2024 Organizational Life Meeting and Democratic Evaluation of Party Members Session in Meeting Room B302 of the University Town campus. The meeting was attended by Zheng Haohua, Secretary of the Branch and Full-time Deputy Director of the Management Committee, Wu Dongjie, Full-time Organizational Staff Member and Office Director, along with all other Party members of the branch. The session was chaired by Zheng Haohua.

On the morning of March 25, ISGBA convened an all-hands meeting for its undergraduate program review in the 900-seat lecture hall of the University Town campus. The meeting was attended by College Director Wu Duan; Secretary of the Directly Subordinated Party Branch and Full-time Deputy Director of the Foshan Campus Management Committee Zheng Haohua; Assistant Directors Liu Zaixing and He Xiaying; Full-time Organizational Staff Member and Office Director Wu Dongjie; along with relevant full-time faculty from ISGBA, office staff, and all first-year undergraduate students (Class of 2024). The meeting was chaired by He Xiaying.

On the afternoon of March 12, in alignment with the university's high-quality development strategy and to enhance the systematic and scientific approach of the undergraduate education teaching audit and evaluation work, ISGBA held a forum to review the undergraduate talent development plan for the Class of 2024 in Meeting Room 533 of the Administrative Building. Li Yong, Vice President of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, attended the meeting as the reviewing university leadership representative.

On the morning of February 24, in accordance with the university's academic arrangements, Li Yong, Vice President of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, led an inspection team to our college for a teaching inspection. The delegation included Xiao Yong, Director of the Experimental Teaching Center; Chen Zesheng, Director of the Information Technology Center; Yuan Jing, Deputy Director of the Party Committee Teacher Work Department and Deputy Director of the Personnel Office; and Lin Feng, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office.
