On November 16th, at the 2025 Cheerleading Competition hosted by the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, ISGBA team achieved a podium finish. They secured 3rd place in Group Dance Cheer and 4th place in Partner Pom. Their success culminated in a 3rd place overall team ranking, bringing the competition to a triumphant close.

ISGBA Triumphs as Overall Champion at School Sports Meet!

As one of the key competitions listed in the China Higher Education Society's Discipline Ranking, this edition was jointly organized by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence and the National University Student Digital Media Technology Works and Creativity Competition Committee, with co-organization by 45 renowned universities including Harbin Institute of Technology. It attracted nearly a thousand domestic and international universities and tens of thousands of entries, making the competition highly intense. The creative team formed by our faculty and students embarked on preparation in September this year, progressing through months of refinement and multiple selection rounds. Ultimately, during the national finals defense session, they secured the judges' recognition with their clear presentation and comprehensive project demonstration.

On the afternoon of September 29th, the Innovation school of Greater Bay Area held a meeting for the 2025 freshmen and the public moral education class at the 900-seat lecture hall of the University Town Campus. The dean of the Innovation School of Greater Bay Area, Wu Duan, the secretary of the Party Committee, Cen Junhao, the vice dean Liu Zaixing, He Xiayun, and the full-time deputy secretary Wu Dongjie, along with all the faculty members and the 2025 graduate students and undergraduate students, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by He Xiayun.
