On June 9, the Foshan Campus Management Committee convened a Working Meeting on Innovating Educational Mechanisms and Systems in Conference Room B302 of the University Town campus. This meeting was held to deepen the implementation of the Themed Education on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, firmly adhering to the general requirements of "learning the theory, strengthening Party consciousness, emphasizing practice, and making new achievements."

On the afternoon of June 2, the Foshan Campus Management Committee, in collaboration with the Information Technology Center, convened a review meeting in Conference Room B302 of the University Town campus. The session focused on soliciting feedback and suggestions for the Smart Campus Development initiative at the Foshan campus, advancing the practical implementation of the Themed Education. Attendees included heads of relevant university functional departments and all members of the Foshan Campus Management Committee Office. The meeting was chaired by Zheng Haohua, Secretary of the Directly Subordinated Party Branch and Full-time Deputy Director of the Foshan Campus Management Committee.

On the afternoon of May 26, a delegation led by heads of relevant departments including the Chancheng District Education Bureau, Bureau of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and Shiwan Subdistrict Office of Foshan City conducted a working visit to our university for discussions and exchange. The meeting was attended by Xie Changjing, Party Committee Secretary of our university; Cai Yonghua, Vice President and Director of the Foshan Campus Management Committee; along with representatives from the Foshan Campus Management Committee, relevant functional departments, and secondary schools of the university.

On May 12, as part of the ongoing campaign to study and implement the Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, a nine-member delegation from the Foshan Campus Management Committee, led by Wu Duan, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office and Executive Deputy Director of the Committee, conducted a fact-finding visit to the China Academy of Art. The visit aimed to facilitate high-quality development of the campus construction projects and proactively explore innovative mechanisms for the Foshan campus's operational and management systems, while simultaneously advancing the themed education activities.

On April 18 and 23, the Directly Subordinated Party Branch of the Foshan Campus Management Committee held thematic study sessions on the Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era at the Party members' activity room of the Foshan Campus Project Command Center and in Room B302 of the University Town campus, respectively. Attendees included Wu Duan, Executive Deputy Director of the Management Committee, all Party members of the branch, and probationary Party members. The sessions were chaired by Zheng Haohua, Secretary of the Branch and Full-time Deputy Director.

Recently, the Directly Subordinated Party Branch of the Foshan Campus Management Committee convened its 2022 Democratic Life Meeting for Party members in leadership positions and its 2022 Organizational Life Meeting in two locations: Conference Room A608 at the University Town campus of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and the Party-building activity room at the Foshan Campus Project Command Center. The meetings were attended by Cai Yonghua, Vice President of the University; Wu Duan, Executive Deputy Director of the Management Committee; Zheng Haohua, Secretary of the Directly Subordinated Party Branch and Full-time Deputy Director; along with all Party members of the branch.

On the afternoon of March 10, Zheng Ke, Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Party Secretary of Foshan City, conducted an inspection and guidance tour of the Phase I construction site of our university's Foshan campus to review the progress of the engineering project.

Recently, the Foshan Campus Management Committee convened the New Semester Work Meeting and Plenary Session in Conference Room A608 of the University Town campus. Attendees included: Cai Yonghua, Vice President of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and Director of the Foshan Campus Management Committee; Wu Duan, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office and Executive Deputy Director of the Management Committee; Zheng Haohua, Secretary of the Directly Subordinated Party Branch and Full-time Deputy Director of the Management Committee; Wang Zhiqiang, Director of the Party Committee Teacher Work Department and Director of the Personnel Office, and Member of the Management Committee; Tu Yuan, Director of the Academic Affairs Office and Member of the Management Committee; Chen Cong, Deputy Director of the Education Development and Alumni Affairs Office and Member of the Management Committee. The meeting was chaired by Wu Duan.

With the anticipation and hard work of everyone involved, the GAFA Foshan Campus groundbreaking ceremony culminated in a successful event as June drew to a close.

On the afternoon of June 23, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Phase I construction project of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (GAFA) Foshan Campus was held in Nanzhuang Town, Chancheng District, Foshan City, marking the launch of a new phase in the campus development.
